Dr. Michelle Saltarrelli
I was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana with my two loving parents, Raymond and Althea Liotta and younger brother, Ray Liotta. I currently reside in Pearland, Texas with my two beautiful sons, ages six and eight and three rescue dogs. Pearland has been my home since 2007. My move to Pearland allowed me to complete my audiology residency at The Methodist Hospital within the Texas Medical Center, and at Houston Ear Research Foundation (HERF).
I earned my Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA in 2008. I achieved a Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders in 2001 from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. My undergraduate degree was also completed at Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. I possess extensive experience as a medical speech-language pathologist (SLP) and cochlear implant audiologist / SLP, prior to opening Autumn Oak Speech, Voice and Hearing, PLLC.
I am unique because, I am a speech pathologist, audiologist, and university adjunct professor. Less than 1% of my fellow professionals in Texas have achieved equal credentials. My education has afforded me to better serve our guests at Autumn Oak. Honestly, professionals cannot ignore one, whether it is speech or hearing, while treating the other. Autumn Oak serves over 1,000 guests from Pearland, Friendswood, Houston, Alvin, Manvel, League City, Santa Fe, Galveston, Woodlands, Katy, and Lafayette, Louisiana. It has been a true honor to serve my guests and allow me to share in their speech and/or hearing journey. I am candid with my recommendations, and I believe that is what others appreciate. My responsibility to you is to share my expertise and educate you, so you are afforded the opportunity to make an educated decision. I promise to walk you through your hearing and speech journey, while sharing REALISTIC expected outcomes. Due to my strong ethics, education, and experience I have been invited to present at a national conference to colleagues regarding audiology practices and services, as well as serve as a board member for the Audiology Quality Consortium.
During my free time, I enjoy volunteering at the local elementary school as a first grade reading tutor and coaching my younger son’s soccer games. I also enjoy working with the League City Rotatory Club and Pearland Chamber of Commerce, both amazing groups with wonderful, kind-hearted people. During my “me” time, you will find me reading a historical fiction book or watching a good Netflix movie. However, whichever way you find me, you will probably see an iced coffee with mocha in my hand! Honestly, I wish I could share running marathons as a favorite pastime and carrots in my hand not coffee, but that is NOT me. My life is quite an adventure enough with my two young, active sons, three rescue dogs, and running a business!

I also spent my earlier years volunteering for library programs. In my free time, I love running, reading and traveling. This past year I ran in the Cypress Half Marathon, TXU Energy Houston Turkey Trot, and Houston Chevron Marathon.

I was born in New Iberia, Louisiana and moved to Alvin, Texas when I was 5 years old. I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade in Alvin and consider it my hometown. I went to college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX majoring in Biology. When I left college I moved to Seattle, WA and lived there for 3 years before moving back to Texas to be closer to my family. Seattle is still one of my favorite cities of all time. I currently live in Pearland with my family.
My husband and I moved to Pearland 9 years ago. We have one daughter (my step daughter), who just graduated from LSU, and two beautiful boys ages 8 and 6. Sharing our home are our dog, Cash, our cat, Maddie and our two rats (yes we have pet rats), Sir Squeak and Squeaks A Lot. There is never a dull moment at our house.
I volunteer in the library at my sons’ school which has been a very rewarding experience. I get to combine my love of books and be involved in my sons’ school at the same time!
My hobbies include reading, traveling, knitting, quilting and most things “crafty”.
My favorites are….
Book- Game of Thrones (I love plot twists)
Place- Seattle, WA
I love being a part of the Autumn Oak family. It has honestly felt like a second home to me. I started working here the day we opened, and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. My coworkers are kind and sincere and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I’ve learned plenty, and have been able to grow along with the business. Autumn Oak Speech, Voice & Hearing is truly one of a kind.
I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but have lived in Seabrook, Texas for 19 years. I graduated from Clear Falls High School in 2014, and currently attend San Jacinto College. I am hoping to attend Texas A&M to pursue a degree in architecture. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and listening to music. I also enjoy going to the theatre, and seeing plays. My favorite play is Moon over Buffalo by Ken Ludwig. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel throughout the United States and Europe. My favorite cities are San Francisco, Newport, Rhode Island and Paris. I volunteer at the Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay, Texas by helping with set design and construction. I also volunteer at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clear Lake, Texas where I assist with vacation bible school. Working at Autumn Oak has been a great experience. The best part about working here is the people I get to work with. I have learned a lot since I started working, and feel there is much more to learn. I love working for a business that helps improve people’s lives.
